How are you spending your school holidays. Lots of fun hanging out with friends at the beach, at the movies and other places. Sleeping in lots and enjoying the sunny weather too.
The summer school break is also a great time to be thinking about what we want to achieve in the year ahead. Watch our short video to see what Timmy and I have been thinking about.
1. Visualise (imagine in your head what you want to achieve)
If you cannot imagine yourself doing it, it won’t happen. When visualising think about what it looks like, feels like and sounds like. Well that is what my mum tells me anyway.
2. Write your goal down on paper in the present tense. For example
” I am a school counsellor”.
” I have a part time job selling …..”
Try to be specific with your goal. This is something I find tricky so need to practice a bit on this.
This is as far as we have got. Next is to make a plan around the goal to achieve it.
More on that later.
